Biography

Mark Tinger is a Mental Health Counselor in training at Adelphi University. He is currently working on his Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Adelphi University and received his Undergraduate degree from SUNY Oneonta. He is actively involved in learning about the clinical process, focusing on the client-therapist relationship, reflection of the self, and following the psychotherapeutic process.

Mr. Tinger has experience in individual therapy revolving around anger issues and depression. Mr. Tinger has worked as a Residential Advisor during his time at SUNY Oneonta and has gained experience working with groups of young adults and is looking to expand his horizons and understanding surrounding many different aspects of mental health, including anxiety, OCD, ODD, ASD, ADD, and more.

In treatment, Mr. Tinger uses Psychodynamic Therapy and many areas of Rogerian Psychology to help his clients speak about their lives openly.

Mr. Tinger has hobbies and interests that include but are not limited to gaming, watching anime, music, and reading.
