Passionate about mental well-being and inclusivity, Cherliz Cohen is a queer and Middle Eastern identifying force in the realm of mental health counseling. Her academic journey began at Wagner College, where she earned a B.A. in Psychology and Gender Studies. Currently advancing her expertise at New York University, Cherliz is pursuing an M.A. in Mental Health Counseling & Wellness with a specialized focus on LGBT+ Health, Education, & Social Service.

Beyond academic accolades, Cherliz Cohen embodies a commitment to fostering change within the LGBTQ+ community and mental health landscape. Drawing from her diverse experiences and Brooklyn roots, she navigates her role with determination, now channeling her energy in Long Island to make a meaningful impact.
